In business communications, conference calls are among the most important tools.
It is all the more important that they can be set up easily & intuitively controlled.

How long do you need to set up a conference call? With XPhone Connect, you schedule a conference call in seconds. Just click on the Outlook or Notes plugin and the appointment for a new conference opens. Then just enter the date and time, add the participants, send the appointment, done.

Just as easy is the dial-in: thanks to comfort authentication, internal users are identified directly based on their number. A PIN is only requested from external participants. During the conference call XPhone Connect provides you with a maximum overview: you can see who has been invited and which of the participants have already dialled in. The current speaker is displayed by name – especially for larger conference calls an enormous added value.

A participant has dialled in from his car and the background noise is disturbing the conversation? Mute the participant or remove them if necessary. And when words are not enough: you can always expand internal conference calls to include a chat or Screen-Sharing erweitern.

You can’t always plan your conference calls ahead of time? No problem. Naturally you can also expand any normal phone call spontaneously by bringing in additional participants.

Schedule conference calls with a click

Using the plugin for Microsoft Outlook & HCL Notes , a single click is enough to create a new conference call. The conference call is displayed like an appointment – and can be equally easily managed, rescheduled or cancelled. Simply select the desired participants, date and time: done. The participants receive the dial-in number and room PIN by email. Do you work internationally? When scheduling, the host can specify the language of the invitation text and the conference call greetings.

Easy to create – even easier to dial in: the moderator and internal participants enter the conference call room by clicking on the dial-in pop-up. Thanks to phone number authentication, no PIN entry is required. Internal participants see in the Client not only who is invited to the conference, but also who has already dialled in.

For large conference calls in particular, the "Active Speaker" function offers considerable added value: the name of the current speaker is always displayed.

The moderator has additional control options: he can lock the conference call room so the current call is not disturbed by new participants, or mute participants if necessary.

Not every conference call can be planned. And they don’t have to be. With the XPhone Client you can flexibly expand any conversation with additional participants.

And that's not all: additional channels such as a group chat or a Screen-Sharing session are also always just a click away. So at any time – just as you need – you can use the medium that supports you best.

Save costs

Thanks to the XPhone Connect conference call server, customers and employees can dial in via the company number. This is generally covered with unlimited minutes and thus incurs no connection costs.

International greeting

The moderator can select the language for the invitation text and the conference call greetings when scheduling the conference call. In the invitation there are additional dial-in numbers for other languages. As a result, on dialling in the participants are welcomed in the appropriate language.

Multi-PBX enabled

The conference call server is part of the XPhone Connect Server. Different locations and different PBXs can be connected to the server.
