Browser Push-Notifications

You can register to receive our push notifications. To send our push notifications, we use the "CleverPush" service, which is operated by CleverPush UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Tondernstr. 1, 22049 Hamburg ("CleverPush").

You will receive regular information about product and company news and promotions via our push notifications.

To register, you must confirm your browser's request to receive notifications. This process is documented and stored by CleverPush. This includes storing the login time and your browser ID or device ID. The collection of this data is necessary so that we can trace the processes in the event of misuse and therefore serves our legal protection.

In order to display the push notifications to you, CleverPush collects and processes your browser ID on our behalf and, in the case of mobile access, your device ID.

CleverPush also statistically evaluates our push notifications. CleverPush can thus see if and when our push notifications were displayed and clicked by you.

Software registration and activation

The activation of our software products requires a registration in our licensing system. When registering, a license owner must be named for the purchased licenses. Only this license owner is entitled to request replacement license codes in the event of loss of the license code file or hardware migration. Name, company, postal address and e-mail address as well as an identification of the computer hardware used are stored. In any case, a valid e-mail address must be provided for the delivery of the license code data. 

C4B Com For Business AG collects, processes and uses your data for the execution and handling of the contractual relationship with you and for your information about new software versions, updates and upgrades.

In order to integrate mobile devices into your company infrastructure, it is necessary to establish a connection to a server hosted centrally by C4B. For this purpose, non-personal data is collected and stored. The identification data of the mobile device shall be stored solely for the purpose of establishing the identity of the mobile device during the commissioning phase and shall not be used for any other purpose.

Your data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for the purpose of their collection. Your data will therefore be stored as long as the corresponding customer system to which you are assigned is active.


 
 

Service Tickets

C4B collects, saves and, if necessary, passes on personal data in connection with the processing of service enquiries and support tickets insofar as this is necessary for processing. The collection, saving and passing on is done by consent. Failure to provide this data may result in the inability to provide support services. Further processing will only take place if you have given your consent or if there is legal permission. 

As far as we do not process your contact data for operational purposes, we store the data collected for the handling of support tickets until the expiry of the period of 5 years.
After expiry of this period, the collected data will be deleted or blocked if deletion is not possible. 

   

 
 

E-Mail

In the context of the use of e-mail for internal and external communication, C4B collects, stores and, if necessary, passes on personal data insofar as this is necessary

  • for fulfillment of a contract
  • for pre-contractual measures on request
  • to fulfil a legal obligation

Failure to provide this data may result in contracts not being fulfilled, pre-contractual measures not being carried out and/or legal obligations not being fulfilled. Further processing will only take place if you have given your consent or if legal permission has been obtained.

If we do not process your contact data for operational purposes, we will store the data for a period of 10 years. After this period has expired, the collected data will be deleted or blocked if deletion is not possible.

 
 

Information for applicants

Within the scope of application processes, C4B collects, saves and, if necessary, passes on personal data. This data is required for the purpose of recruiting and fulfilling employment relationships. Failure to provide this data may result in the applicant not being able to be recruited or operational procedures being disrupted and stalled.

Further processing will only take place if you have given your consent or if there is legal permission. To some extent, we use external service providers based in the European Economic Area to process your data. These service providers have been carefully selected by us, commissioned in writing and are bound by our instructions. They are checked by us on a regular basis. The service providers will not pass this data on to third parties, but will delete it after fulfilment of the contract and conclusion of statutory storage periods, unless you have consented to storage going beyond this.

If we do not process your contact data for operational purposes, we store the data collected for our applicant management software until the expiry of the 3-year period. 
After expiry of this period, the data collected for our applicant management software will be deleted or blocked if deletion is not possible.
