For years, Klinikum Landsberg
has been putting its trust in C4B Unified Communications solutions. At the end
of 2010, it replaced the software it had been using with the XPhone Unified
Communications version.
Today, some 500 members of
staff at the hospital can access distributed company contact details via a
central interface. The search function offers staff a standardised search of
all of the address books from various sources.
"Thanks to the
transparency and flexibility of the solution, we were able to improve all our
call controls and tighten our communications processes," summarises head
of IT Jörg Schmid. The short implementation time also ensures that there was no
interruption to the running of the hospital.
"Creating a central address book provides our staff with access to all of the hospital's contact details.
The integration of telephony, fax and voicemail in our daily work sequences resulted in a noticeable improvement of our communications processes, which ultimately benefits our patients."
