XPhone Connect 6 is now "Unify Ready". The latest Unified Communications solution from C4B Com For Business AG has been released by Unify for use with OpenScape Business, OpenScape Voice and OpenScape 4000.
Munich, 8 December 2016. UC specialist C4B only launched the latest release of its XPhone series in September: now, after completion of all certification tests, XPhone Connect 6 also bears the "Unify Ready" label. Use with the latest versions of OpenScape Business (V2), OpenScape Voice (V8-9) and OpenScape 4000 (V7) has been tested and certified. C4B has worked with Unify (formerly Siemens Enterprise Communications) as an Advanced Technology Partner for more than 15 years now.
XPhone Connect is a complete UC solution that combines communication channels such as telephone, conference calling, chat, screen sharing, fax and voicemail and adds presence management, mobile services, contact data integration and telephone data analysis tools. The key feature of the XPhone solutions is their flexibility: the UC solution can also be used if different telephone systems that are not networked are used at different locations. Similarly, PBXs of third parties such as e.g. Cisco or Alcatel can be integrated.
One of the key new features of XPhone Connect 6 is the Team-Panel, which makes it easy to see the accessibility of large departments or entire companies. Via Team-Panel, calls can be forwarded or picked up by a colleague. These telephony and switchboard functions are also available across locations and without linking the telephone systems in a network.
The new release also significantly increased the scalability of the UC platform: with XPhone Connect 6, up to 5,000 users can be run on one server. Also new is the integration into IBM Notes. In addition to calendar syncing for automatic control of presence status, voicemail and call forwarding, CTI functions such as telephony or contact search are also available. At the same time, telephone conference calls can be planned and managed directly in Notes via the plugin.
