C4B extends its upgrade campaign
One year of software updates free of charge: this bonus can be secured until 31.03.2018 by existing customers of C4B Com For Business AG. The Unified Communications manufacturer has extended its upgrade campaign into the coming year.
Munich, 2 November 2017. C4B Com For Business AG is extending its upgrade campaign, whereby existing customers upgrading to XPhone Connect before 31.03.2018 will receive one year of software updates free of charge. “Thanks to this upgrade bonus, our customers are practically getting two versions for the price of one”, explains C4B Marketing Director Marko Gatzemeier. During the software assurance term, customers are entitled to always use the latest software version. “Customers opting for an upgrade can use our latest XPhone Connect 7 major release next year – and at no additional costs.”
As part of the upgrade campaign, C4B invited customers and partners to the “Upgrade Days” in August and September where it presented XPhone Connect in a comprehensive live demo. “The response was consistently positive and there was great interest shown”, reports Gatzemeier. “By extending our bonus campaign, our partners can make the most of this sales momentum.”
Another boost is provided by the new service release launched by the UC specialist two weeks ago. This release features an extended mobile app, for example: callers whose contacts are filed in a linked application such as SAP, Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics are now also shown by name and company on the smartphone.
Mobility as a key upgrade topic
“Mobility is a key reason for upgrades by our existing customers”, emphasises Gatzemeier. “One important factor involves employees who now make significantly higher demands on flexible working hour models.” Background: XPhone Connect enables a home office workstation to be set up without any major expense or hardware investments. Using the AnyDevice function, any telephone can be controlled using the Connect Client with the result that users can also set up conference calls, forward calls and use the One-Number function with their own land line connection. And telephony status is transferred from any device and shown to colleagues in Presence Management.
“Our partners can now look forward to lucrative year-end business: the combination of a new release and an upgrade bonus is a very convincing argument”, confirms Gatzemeier. This is not only applicable considering the fact that the Connect predecessor, XPhone Unified Communications, has meanwhile been discontinued: existing customers will still be able to buy licenses until June 2018 but support will be discontinued as of 30.06.2019.
In terms of quotations for offers, nothing will change for C4B partners during the campaign period: a free year of Up2Date will be automatically added to the C4B Product Calculator for each upgrade.
