Software assurance at zero cost

Munich, 6 April 2017.  UC specialist C4B Com For Business is now supporting its partners with an upgrade campaign when their existing customers upgrade: customers still using XPhone Unified Communications, Virtual Directory, or Essentials for Lync will receive a year of software assurance free when they upgrade to XPhone Connect. The upgrade promotion will run until 30 September this year.

C4B's software assurance – XPhone Up2Date – entitles the customer to install all upgrades during the Up2Date term. This means they can always use the latest XPhone version. "Thanks to Up2Date, existing customers who decide to upgrade now can take advantage of all functions we bring to market e.g. with a new major release – without any additional costs," says Marketing Director Marko Gatzemeier. C4B partners can thus offer their customers a significant price advantage during the upgrade campaign.

Customers who not only upgrade their system but at the same time also expand it have a double advantage: if a customer decides to use the new Business Intelligence module Analytics or to purchase additional user licences, the 12 free months are not calculated for the original system, but for the new licence package.

Customers can also extend the Up2Date term to up to 5 years if required. Although the annual costs are lower the longer the term is, during the promotion the customer will always be credited the fixed discount rate for a 1-year term.

"Our partners benefit not only from a clear price advantage," says Gatzemeier in summary. "At the same time the promotion involves no additional effort or expense for them." The reason: as soon as an upgrade for an existing system is calculated in the product calculator provided by C4B in its partner portal, a free year of Up2Date is added automatically. Thus, for the partner nothing changes during the promotion period.
