The functions integrate seamlessly in the groupware system. Furthermore, and this is a major criterion for Zeppelin, XPhone UC is approved for use in terminal server / Citrix environments.
A few years ago, Zeppelin changed all its telephony over to an IP-based system, which eliminates all the costs for calls between its various locations.
Further savings are achieved by the XPhone presence functions that display staff presence and telephone status, thus ensuring effective internal communications and considerably improving availability.
Specific requirement in the implementation: each of the approximately 35 locations has its own numbering plan and exchange that is attached to the voice gateway and is controlled centrally. Connection to the XPhone server is via the CSTA interface.
