C4B: back to joint CEOs

UC specialist C4B Com For Business has expanded its management board: since the beginning of the year, Bernd Woköck, one of C4B's founding members and long-time CEO, has been joined by Stephan Krä. Krä has extensive specialised knowledge and many years of experience in management positions in medium-sized companies. At C4B he is responsible for the areas of sales, marketing, HR and finance.

Munich, 5 July 2021. C4B Com For Business AG has expanded its management board. After Bernd Woköck, co-founder and CEO from the very beginning, managed the business alone for a year, since 1 January 2021 the C4B executive leadership has been a duo again. Since then, Stephan Krä has been responsible for sales, marketing, finance & HR at the UC manufacturer.

"I've used the past 6 months to get to know the employees, the company culture, the product and the customers," Krä reports. "The great thing is that every day I learn more about the team and the work here and I'm pleased to be able to actively support the company in its development moving forward!"

Fellow CEO Bernd Woköck is also pleased: "In addition to Stephan's management know-how, his fresh perspective is a great asset. We develop almost all of our managers from within our own ranks and thus have an incredible pool of experience. Now we also profit from a new pair of eyes from the outside."

Krä brings with him many years of management experience, particularly in process optimisation, performance management and the strategic positioning of medium-sized companies. "In my career to date, I have gotten to know many industries and business models and have often had the chance to take the helm in phases of major change," explains the business graduate. "Now I have the good fortune of being able to help shape the future of a perfectly healthy company in a very interesting market."

C4B Com For Business AG was founded in 1999 and has since recorded constant growth in terms of sales, profit and employee numbers. The communications specialist has also continuously expanded its portfolio – from simple computer telephony integration to a comprehensive unified communications platform.

Growth in a dynamic market

"The market for communications solutions is already extremely dynamic per se. But the coronavirus has triggered even more fresh momentum. Suddenly, businesses where previously the desire for a home office was a no-go are also recognising the incredible potential of mobile working," says Krä. "C4B has been at home in this market for over 20 years. And that's why we are exactly the right people to support businesses on their journey into the new world of work." With regard to sales distribution, says Krä, the company will continue to rely 100% on the channel.

To ideally position not only C4B for this but also its core product, the UC platform XPhone Connect, Krä is focusing on investment. "In future we want to significantly expand on our classic strengths such as proximity to the market by integrating innovations of particular interest to the DACH region into the product faster and in a more targeted way."

C4B plans to invest not only in the product and in infrastructure, but above all in the workforce – both in recruiting and in existing staff: "That's one thing that really struck me from day one: I have never seen the commitment and heart and soul with which everyone here is at work at any other company."

In order to further expand the team, numerous positions have already been advertised in recent months – including in Development, QA, HR, IT and Accounting. More are to follow on an ongoing basis. "I'm also still pretty new here and can only say: this is a great crew! So definitely come on board if you fancy a good team and real creative opportunities!"
