Exactly 20 years ago there was a new addition to the UC market: in February 1999, C4B Com For Business AG was born. The UC manufacturer is celebrating the anniversary with three different promotions for the channel: in addition to new customer and upgrade discounts, for Up2Date terms of 3 years or more there is an additional free year of software assurance. 

Munich, 25 February 2019. "Twenty years ago, we were just a handful of people with nothing but an idea," recalls C4B director Bernd Woköck. "Today, the team is 10 times bigger and everyone gets down to it with the same passion as we did in the very first days. That doesn't just make you a little bit proud. Above all, every day it’s really fun!"

The distribution partners should also have fun in the anniversary year: for this reason, C4B is launching three different promotions for the channel, each of which will run until the end of 2019 and cover all segments. "Whether new or existing customers: with our campaign bundle, nobody goes away empty-handed," summarizes marketing director Marko Gatzemeier.

10% new customer discount

The first campaign is for new customers, who will now receive a 10% discount courtesy of C4B. These can include a distribution partner’s existing customers. The decisive factor is that the customer does not yet have an XPhone server in use. The only thing excluded from the promotion is the SME solution XPhone Connect Smart, which C4B launched last year.

25% existing customer bonus

In addition to new customers, existing customers will also benefit in the anniversary year: all customers currently still using XPhone Unified Communications or XPhone Connect Virtual Directory (V4) will receive a 25% discount on an upgrade. "In addition to the greatly increased feature set, our partners have another strong argument for upgrading: on 30 June this year, support for all V4 products will come to an end. With the discount campaign, we want to give this momentum another boost," explains Gatzemeier. The promotion prices are already stored in the product calculator, which is available in the C4B partner portal. “Our partners won’t have to do anything at all: the discount is automatically included in every V4 upgrade," says Gatzemeier.

Up2Date: 3 for 2 promotion

In the 3rd promotion too, the promotional price is also automatically included in the product calculator: customers who buy XPhone Up2Date with a term of at least three years are given another full year of software assurance for free. Customers who buy three years thus pay only two. Customers choosing a term of four years, only three, etc. The Up2Date promotion can be combined with both the new customer and the existing customer discount and applies in particular also to an extension of the software assurance. "With the promotion our partners have the perfect argument for a longer term – and thus benefit from longer customer loyalty," emphasises Gatzemeier.
