Retrieve and activate licences
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO retrieve AND ACTIVATE YOUR XPHONE SOFTWARE
1. Download and install software
Download the XPhone software: Go to Software Download
Install the software and follow the instructions in the installation wizard.
2. Determine hardware ID
To register your software and retrieve your licences, you will need the hardware ID of the system on which the installation is to be made. The hardware ID is only available after the XPhone Server has been installed.
The hardware ID can be found in the administration interface of the XPhone Connect server at:
System settings > Licences > Licence management > Import licence package
3. Register system and retrieve licences
Licence code to hand
The license code is required for retrieving the licence. It was sent to you by e-mail and you can also find it in your licence certificate.
Open licence management
Licence management for
XPhone Connect is directly integrated in the administration interface of your
XPhone server. This is available via the following menu (recommended procedure):
System
settings > Licences > Licence management > Manage licence package

Alternatively, you can open
licence management for XPhone Connect here.
Enter licence code
Click Next and enter your license code and the security code shown before clicking Next.
Register software
In the next step, please enter the licence holder's full address (software owner). The e-mail address entered here as the administrative contact is used for delivering the licences.
You also have the possibility to enter a technical contact at your service-provider's who also receives the licence information.
After entering
the data, please click Next until you are requested to enter the
hardware ID.
Enter hardware ID
Enter the hardware ID of the system on which your XPhone software is to be installed.
Retrieve licence
The licenses will be sent to the e-mail address indicated. Open the e-mail and save the license file.
4. Activate licence
WIf you have
used license management directly from the administration interface of your
XPhone Connect server, the licence is generated and installed directly enabling
you to work with the system.
If you have not used integrated licence management, please open the administration interface of your XPhone Connect server and open the licence management function:
System settings > Licences > Licence management > Import licence package
Load the saved licence file (.xml) on the XPhone server and click Import to install the licences.
