Why is the presence status of colleagues not visible in the Connect Client?


For certain users, you cannot see the presence status of a colleague, regardless of the relationship to that user defined in the XPhone Connect Client.

In this case the option "This user is a VIP" is activated in the user's  "Properties" on the XPhone Server.  All default settings for relationships are deactivated for VIPs. VIPs thus retain control over the information they wish to make available to other persons. 

Another reason could be that the user whose presence information is not visible has classified me as an "unknown person" on his XPhone Connect Client, or the administrator specifies the relationship "unknown person" as the default relationship. This can be changed by the user himself on the Connect Client if desired.
