Why is my personal voicebox not being used?


In XPhone Connect Client, only the central voicemail number is displayed, but not the personal one. This can be changed with the help of a parameter.

The following parameter is available for this purpose:

Under UM > VOICEMAIL > GENERAL, the ClientVoicemailNumberType parameter can be entered to control the forwarding number.

The parameter defines the forwarding destination if the forwarding to the voicemail is activated by software

0 - Automatic, i.e. depending on whether the user has an AnyDevice line or not

1 - Phone number voicemail port

2 - Prefers the user's personal mailbox number consisting of the voicemail autodetection prefix and the user's extension number.

The reason why the personal voicebox is not used is related to the fact that the customer does not use AnyDevice. Only then the personal voicebox number is used automatically.
