Why can't I access my voicemail?


Access to your own voicemail box fails with the message "Access to your messages is not possible. Please set up your mailbox password via the web application".

Voicemail messages are delivered to the user's e-mail mailbox.

If the mailbox template in XPhone Server is set to "external", the voicemail service accesses the user's mailbox directly in the external e-mail server entered under UM -> E-MAIL-SERVER.

Each user must enter his or her mailbox password (in the POSTFACH area) via the "XPhoneSettings". The "XPhoneSettings" can be called up in Outlook or Lotus Notes Client via the corresponding menu command / button.

When using Microsoft Exchange, the mailbox password is the Windows password. If Lotus Notes is used, the "Internet password" set up in the Domino server.
