Several PBXs from different locations are created in the XPhone Server. Since these are networked, employees can dial each other internally across locations and pick up calls. If this is not automatically routed by the PBX system, it can be configured via the XPhone Server.
The following settings must be made on the XPhone Server using the "Dialing parameters special configuration" tool, which you can access via the XPhone Connect Server Manager or the XPhone Server Service Manager under "Tools". Log in with the XPhone Server system administrator ID.
These dialing parameters apply to illustrate the following example:
Location 1 Munich
+49 (89) 12345-0
3- to 4-digit extension numbers
Location 2 Hamburg
+49 (40) 98765-0
3- to 4-digit extension numbers
Location 3 Vienna
+43 (1) 45678-0
3- to 4-digit extension numbers
1. select the dialing parameter of the 1st location "Munich" in the tool "Dialing parameter special configuration" under "Name
2. click NEW under SPECIAL CONFIGURATION | REGULAR EXPRESSIONS to add a new regular expression
3. in the Edit Special Configuration window, select "DisplayToDialable" under "Name" and define the following values:
Value 1: ^(04098765|0043145678)([0-9]{3,4})$
Value 2: i$2
4. select in the tool "Dialing parameters special configuration" the dialing parameters of the 2nd location "Hamburg" under "Name
5. click NEW under SPECIAL CONFIGURATION / REGULAR EXPRESSIONS to add a new regular expression
6. select "DisplayToDialable" under "Name" in the "Edit Special Configuration" window and define the following values:
Value 1: ^(08912345|0043145678)([0-9]{3,4})$
Value 2: i$2
7. select in the tool "Dialing parameters special configuration" the dialing parameters of the 3rd location "Vienna" under "Name
8. click NEW under SPECIAL CONFIGURATION / REGULAR EXPRESSIONS to add a new regular expression
9. in the "Edit Special Configuration" window, select "DisplayToDialable" under "Name" and define the following values:
Value 1: ^(00498912345|00494098765)([0-9]{3,4})$
Value 2: i$2
10. save the settings
You can now use the TEST button at any time to check whether the correct results are obtained with the settings you have made.
HiPath 3000 / Openscape Business special features (MULAP)
If MULAP groups are used at the sites, this may also have to be taken into account. The rules must be adapted accordingly (e.g. Mulap prefixes ** and ***).
For Munich:
DisplayToDialable
Value 1: ^(04098765|004345678)(\*{2,3})?([0-9]{3,4})$
Value 2: i$3
For Hamburg:
DisplayToDialable
Value 1: ^(08912345|004345678)(\*{2,3})?([0-9]{3,4})$
Value 2: i$3
For Vienna:
DisplayToDialable
Value 1: ^(00498912345|00494098765)(\*{2,3})?([0-9]{3,4})$
Value 2: i$3
In addition, the Mulap prefixes must be made known to the XPhone server. For this purpose, store as an additional "election rule" with the name MulapPrefix and the value X**,X***.
NOTE: If, for example, 66 and 77 are used instead of ** and ***, the syntax is:
Name: MulapPrefix
Value: X66,X77
Make the settings also for the dialing parameters of all other locations.
This setting causes no Mulap prefixes to be signaled or dialed.
