This guide follows you through every step to properly install and configure the XPhone Connect Server:
A user opens the XPhone Settings website on his workstation yet isn't offered a login window.
You've configured multiple Telephony-Gateways of different locations in the XPhone Server. Because they are connected, users can call internally and pick calls across locations. If this isn't being routed by the PBX automatically, you can configure this in the XPhone Server.
What log files are needed for analysis if there is a problem with fax, voicemail or text messaging functions or the messages do not reach the recipient?
The description of a presence status in the XPhone Connect server was changed, e.g. from "Out of office" to "Test drive". The user themself sees the changed description, other users however are still seeing "Out of office".
What could be the cause when the access to the Microsoft Exchange server is not possible, for example public and private Outlook contact folders cannot be added to the XPhone Connect Directory or Virtual Directory, calender synchronization between the XPhone and Exchange server does not work or you cannot access your Voicemail via MAPI?
The Windows password for the MAPI-account, which is used for the XPhone Connect Server service, was changed. What do I have to do now?
To connect AMIS to your XPhone Express Client you need the software TelControl. TelControl is the link between the XPhone Express client and AMIS. Once TelControl is installed, you can initiante outgoing calls from the AMIS software. Please contact C4B support to retrieve the software.
Incoming faxes are not accepted by the XPhone Server. There can be various reasons for this: the fax number is not assigned to any user in the XPhone Server
In the source of a connector: Active Directory or text file, a data change occurs, e.g. the name or phone number is changed for a user. Yet this change is not applied to the user in the XPhone Server even though the connector has already run.
